Kinder Bueno Cookie Pie Recipe — Hazelnut Chocolate Dessert Pie

Kinder Bueno Cookie Pie is a giant, thick and chewy cookie baked in a pie dish and studded with chopped Kinder chocolate, whole Kinder Buenos and plenty of chocolate chips. Rich, gooey and irresistible, it’s the perfect treat to share or to enjoy by the slice.

No, your eyes do not deceive you — this recipe is all about Kinder Bueno. If you love that creamy hazelnut centre and milk chocolate exterior, this cookie pie delivers it in every bite.

This version is presented as a cookie pie — thick, slightly underbaked in the middle if you prefer a molten centre, or baked a little longer for a firmer slice. Either way, the combination of cookie dough, Kinder pieces and chocolate chips creates a decadent texture contrast: crisp edges, tender crumb and pockets of melted chocolate.

If you like a softer, gooier centre, bake around 25 minutes; for a firmer, fully set cookie pie, allow 30–35 minutes. The images show my slightly underbaked result, which produced an ooey-gooey centre that I love.

How to make the Kinder Bueno Cookie Pie

  • Melted butter and sugar in a white bowl.
Beat together brown sugar, granulated sugar and partially melted butter until combined.

Ingredients

  • ¾ Cups and 2 Tbsp. Butter, Partially Melted (200g)
  • ¾ Cup Brown Sugar (150g)
  • ½ Cup Sugar (100g)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. Golden Syrup (22g)
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 and ¾ Cups All Purpose Flour (340g)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Cups Chocolate Chips (135g)
  • 55 g Kinder Chocolate, Chopped
  • 4 Kinder Buenos (172g)

Topping;

  • 50 g Kinder Chocolate, Melted
  • 2 Kinder Buenos (86g)
Metric – US Conventional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a 9″ (20cm) round pie dish or cake pan.
  • Beat the super soft or partially melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until combined.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time until smooth.
  • Add the vanilla extract and golden syrup and mix to combine.
  • Fold in the flour and baking powder until a dough forms.
  • Chop the Kinder chocolate and Kinder Buenos into small pieces and stir them into the dough along with the chocolate chips.
  • Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes. For a gooey centre, aim for the lower end of the range; for a firmer set, bake longer.
  • The top and edges should be lightly golden. A skewer inserted into the centre will have loose crumbs attached when it’s ready if you prefer a soft middle.
  • Allow the pie to cool for 10 minutes, top with pieces of Kinder Bueno, then drizzle with melted Kinder chocolate. Slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
