Baked Italian Shrimp with Garlic and Parmesan

Italian Baked Shrimp

Quick, flavorful shrimp that works as an appetizer, a topping for pasta or salad, or a simple main.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw, peeled and deveined shrimp (frozen is fine)
    (shrimp will be grey before cooking)
  • 2 T Italian seasoning mix
    about 2/3 of a packet
  • 4 T butter
    melted
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a 9×13-inch baking pan, combine the shrimp, melted butter, Italian seasoning, and lemon slices. Toss gently to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from the oven and let rest for a minute before serving.

Notes

There will be a generous amount of seasoned butter in the pan. It’s excellent for dipping crusty bread or tossing with cooked pasta along with the shrimp. Enjoy the sauce — it’s part of what makes this dish so tasty.
