Holiday time is made for treating yourself, and a festive cocktail is a perfect way to do it. This Cranberry Ginger Holiday Cocktail is a chilled, refreshing vodka-based drink that can be mixed in a pitcher for a crowd. A glass of this is a lovely way to welcome the fall season.

What am I celebrating? Lots of things: the holiday season I adore, the approach of winter, the colorful produce appearing at markets, and those lingering warm afternoons. Mostly, I’m celebrating this gorgeous pink Cranberry Ginger Holiday Cocktail poured into mason jars — one for Denver and one for me.

This post also has a personal note: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I dedicate this recipe in solidarity. Cancer affects many families, including mine, and the emotional and physical challenges are real. Personal resilience and family support matter, so if you can, please take time to learn about the cause and support organizations that help.
I’m excited to join a Monthly Ingredient Challenge with fellow bloggers starting this month. Each month I’ll explore a new ingredient and share a recipe here — a chance for both of us to try something fresh. I hope you’ll follow along and enjoy the recipes as they appear.

I’ll admit: I normally avoid pink, but this spiked cranberry and ginger cocktail is almost impossible to resist. With sugar-coated rims, a lime slice to garnish, balanced sweetness, and a bright ginger bite from the ginger beer I used — Angus O’Neil’s — it looks as delightful as it tastes.
I love cocktails that look elegant but are simple to make at home. If you’ve tried my Tall Mango Jalapeno or the Sparkling Cucumber Chili Gin, you’ll know I enjoy seasonal drinks that suit different moods. The Gin for summer, Mango Jalapeno for late summer and early fall, and this Cranberry Ginger to welcome autumn — one cocktail for every season.

So raise a glass — cheers to crisp fall days and festive flavors. I think you’ll enjoy this cocktail as much as I do.
