Happy June! There’s something about this month that always brings a smile—maybe it’s the memory of school ending and the first taste of summer freedom. How has your June been so far? Moving Plans—We’re moving soon, and while I’m excited, this move feels different than previous ones. Years ago we moved cross-country with just a few suitcases and practically nothing else. This time we’re keeping a lot more: matching office desks, kitchen gear, and shelves stocked with baking supplies that helped grow Beaming Baker into a business. The real challenge is deciding what to keep, what to give to my mom, and what to donate.
Do you have plans to move this summer? Erik says summer is prime moving season and hopes it will make apartment hunting easier since more units tend to be available. Fingers crossed!

Apartment Hunting Tips? We’ve hunted for apartments many times over the past decade, often rushed and working with tight timelines—sometimes only one or two days—to find a place. This time we’re giving ourselves more breathing room and aiming to be at least 75% in love with the place before we commit. If you have suggestions for finding an apartment you truly love, we’d really appreciate your advice.
Keto Recipes—Lately I’ve been adding some keto-friendly recipes to the blog, like the 4 Ingredient Paleo Almond Butter Ice Cream. I’ve had many requests for low-carb, mostly sugar-free options, and I’m curious if you’d like to see more. I plan to create new keto recipes and adapt popular Beaming Baker favorites to be low-carb and sugar-free. Tell me what keto recipes you’d like to see or which existing recipes you’d like converted.
